Does it disturb you that our children are being hurried and overstimulated too much? Do you believe children thrive when they can develop at the own pace based on their own intrinsic motivation, and not from an adult who constantly intervenes? Does it trouble you that our children aren’t connected to nature? Are you concerned with the unhealthy environments children are exposed to? If so, you may be a good fit for our early care program.
Green Sprouts, an early care center located in Windham, is seeking an infant/toddler teacher. We are an eco-healthy, eco-friendly program that implements a mixed-age group and primary caregiver model to promote positive relationships. We encourage learning through respect and uninterrupted play, and embrace a peaceful environment. We believe in connecting children with nature and therefore are outdoors all year long. We promote partnerships between families and staff and are responsive to the changing needs of families. Green Sprouts believes sustainability is our environmental responsibility and therefore we recycle, reduce and reuse.
A successful candidate will:
- be willing to learn and implement the Pikler Approach to responsive caregiving
- be respectful, responsible, reliable, and flexible
