We are now serving Nature’s Place Organic Milk for lunch and snacks.

Children under 2 years of age will be served whole milk. Children 2 years of age and older will be served 2 % milk.

Aplaca Discovery and Family Picnic

Green Sprouts families visited the Snow Pond Farm in Windham on Saturday, May 11th and learned about Alpacas. We found out where they came from and how they are valuable to us. We were intorduced to them by name and birthdate and learned how to feed them.

After visiting with the Alapacas, children explored the chickens and playground. A family picnic and visit to the Alpaca gift store followed.

Join us as we celebrate our first year anniversay with several Windham businesses. Our open house is Saturday, April 28th from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm. We’ll have a cake and some eco-friendly activities for children. See you then!

HOLIDAY FUN!

On December 16th, families got together at our center to celebrate the holidays.

Each family brought their favorite holiday dish to share. We had lots of yummy food!

After eating and socializing, the children and adults decorated gingerbread people.

HARVESTING BEANS

We have been working diligently on our gardens; weeding,watering and documenting. The tomato plants have lots of green tomatoes but its the beans that are really growing! The past two weeks, we picked beans and sampled them right from the plant! The Sprouts, our preschool class, cooked beans and enjoyed them for lunch.

We’ve picked and sent beans home with families too.
